Swedish filmaker Ralph Persson was shooting film on a snow covered road in the forest, along with his wife, when the man found himself being charged by a bear.

The incident is captured in first-person by Persson’s camera as well as third-person by that of his wife, and it’s simply amazing to watch.

When asked about the incident by the Hela Halsingland newspaper, as reported by UPI, Persson said, “I screamed as much as I could and made myself very big.” He also stated that he didn’t trust the “lie down and play dead” defense, opting instead to mimic the actions of birds he had witnessed.

“I have seen in the past how even cranes have chased bears by folding up their wings,” he said.

Well done sir.

Well done.
