Ladies, the first thing you need to know is that you’re beautiful. Absolutely, completely, unequivocally beautiful. I’m sorry that men don’t tell you this more often. I’m sorry I’ve let fear of man’s interpretation prevent me from telling you this more frequently.

You are so incredibly beautiful.

I’m not saying that to flatter. I’m not saying it to ingratiate myself with you. As a man, it is my privilege to acknowledge and celebrate the beauty you possess. My applause of who you are is not adjoined by desires to acquire something from you. You can discern a Godly man by what he seeks, or refrains from seeking, in the words he speaks to you.

You are undeniably worth it.

No relationship is without complication. No circumstance without trial. No life without disappointment. But you… you are worth the fight. You are worth the journey. You are worth the pursuit. Period. I don’t care what men have told you in the past, whether through their words or actions. You are worth the price it takes to truly love you.

You are a desperately needed reflection of Christ.

God made man in His image, and then He separated man in two: Adam & Eve, men & women. Without you, we are left with an unconscionably incomplete image of God. We need you. Who you are so perfectly reflects Christ in the world, and regardless of what you’ve heard in the past, we desperately need your perspective, insight, giftings, and talents.

You are your Daddy’s favorite.

The Father’s heart beats more fiercely for you than you can possibly imagine. He is jealous for His daughters, passionate to protect, comfort, and shelter you. Each thought that weighs ever so lightly on your mind weighs so heavily on His. He longs to wrap you up in His impenetrable arms and know the deepest places of your heart, while sharing the deepest parts of His.

You are chosen.

There may be times when this is difficult to believe. Rejection will always hurt, and your identity must never be in another’s choice. But daughter, you have already been chosen, and the One who chose you before the Earth was formed will choose you again, if you desire, through the heart of another one: a one with eyes fixed on The One. The selfish whim of a boy, selecting you to have his needs met, is not your heart’s desire. A heart in love with Jesus grows more beautiful every day, but only a sold-out man, a laid down lover of Jesus, will appreciate such a heart. You are not waiting to be chosen. You are chosen.

Abundant life is yours, and it’s simpler than you think.

You are loved. You are worth it. You are valuable. You are chosen. Receive it. Don’t wait to live abundant life. Everything you desire is available to you right now, and it’s simpler than you think. Pursue the Father’s heart, and delight in the wonders of your adventures together. Everything else will be added to you as you enjoy abundant life in Him today, right now, in this moment. Rejoice in Christ. Rejoice in Christ in you. Rejoice in your abundant life.

Concerning Men

For those concerned about their interactions with men, here’s a few things you should know.

  1. It’s not complicated. Ignore those who make it so.
  2. Value is not subconscious. A man who values you will demonstrate it in everything he does.
  3. Games are for players. If you want genuine relationship, have genuine conversation.
  4. Men aren’t mind readers. Communication is the heart of any relationship.
  5. There is safety in counsel. Value yourself enough to stay in community.
  6. Follow healthy examples. People with the worst track records tend to give the loudest advice.
  7. Know yourself and in Whom your identity is secured. Boundaries don’t just happen.
  8. Never place your hope in a man’s attention. You have already captivated the King of Kings.

In Conclusion

If there is one thing I wish to brand permanently upon the doors of your heart, it’s that you truly are a priceless treasure. You have ravished the heart of God, and no one can ever take that away from you. You are easy to love, and even when you’re difficult to love, you’re worth the price it takes to truly love you. I can’t tell you enough how beautiful you are, and neither I nor any other man alive can ever hope to express affection for you like Jesus, the Lover of your soul, can. Look into His eyes, transfixed with passion for you. Hear His words, singing sweetly over you. Feel His embrace, gently covering you.

You are His. And He is yours.

  1. Well, Jacob, you are joining mankind and even heaven in this fascination with women. It’s not often said, but I think we can conclude from Scripture that Eve and all her subsequent kind, are a first and unique feminines in creation. Notice that there is no mention of feminine angels. Moreover, even angels were so drawn, as you are, to women, that they left the other dimensions of heaven to come to time/space on earth and mate with the ladies. These are the “sons of God”, who fathered the giant Nephilim, which included Goliath and the giants in the promised land. Although some scholars consider this “controversial”, I think they consider it “difficult” to swallow or explain, as are many of the supernatural, other-dimensional realities in the Bible.

Bottom line, women are truly remarkable, even on a cosmic level. Genesis 6:2 says:
“the sons of God saw that the daughters of man were attractive. And they took as their wives any they chose.” Finally they had messed up the bloodlines so that all but one family, presumably one with bloodlines directly from Adam and Eve, had to be terminated by flood. All very difficult indeed! But women are unique and as this shows, highly attractive!

On a lighter note, did you know that women are the first Genetically Modified Organisms? Certainly! God took a DNA sample that could be spared – the spare rib – from Adam, and did his God-magic on it, and voila’, Woman! The first GMO. Conclusion: not all GMO’s are bad!

  2. I cannot express enough how much I love this and just how needed it is!! Thank you so much for the encouragement and grace that flows out of this. I’m about to go & serve on a summer camp with a lot of teenage girls (and female leaders) and every one of them will be receiving a copy of this message and a recommendation to check this out xx

    • So glad it speaks to you Beth. I’m praying that the Father encounters these girls at your camp with His supernatural love and unfathomable goodness, and that you are ministered to by His heart even as you minister to the campers. Blessings!

  3. Beautiful Post! I initially didn’t want to register for Disqus but your post was just absolutely amazing! I took notes!
