Say Yes To Abundant Life

Why is purity important?

If you’re first thought was that sexual immorality is wrong, you’re not alone, you’re just missing the point. As long as purity is about what I don’t do, I will fail in my quest to stay pure. As long as my eyes are fixed squarely upon the cage I wish to avoid, I will inevitably find myself in its vicinity, if not planted firmly inside.

Purity is not important because impurity is wrong. Purity is not about what we avoid. Purity is about what we obtain.

“Who may ascend into the hill of the Lord? And who may stand in His holy place? He who has clean hands and a pure heart, who has not lifted up his soul to falsehood and has not sworn deceitfully” Psalm 24:3

The goal of purity is to ascend the hill of the Lord, to stand in His holy place. The goal of purity is to have incredible, fulfilling, unhindered sex with your spouse. The goal of purity is to say, “Yes!” to abundant life every day.

It’s not about saying, “No,” it’s about saying, “Yes.”

Over the next 40 days, Uncompromised Men will be embarking upon a journey to purity. We will be using Moral Revolution’s purity journal as a reference, and hosting regular discussions on what purity looks like in our daily lives.

You’re invited! It doesn’t matter if you’re single or married, a teenager or middle aged, struggling with purity or victorious, you’re invited to take part and provide insight in our journey to men’s purity.

68% of young adult men use porn at least once a week. While there’s a lot more to purity to than abstaining from porn, this statistic is a sobering indicator of the bondage in our society today. If you need freedom, this is your year, and now is the time. If you’re free, this is a great place to share your insight and experience with those following in your footsteps.
